Free Holiday Open House and Artist Talk with Natalie Wagner

Join us Friday evening for a short demonstration, and group discussion with visiting artist, Natalie Wagner. They will be showing how they plan and execute their carving techniques and extruded handles before opening the evening up to the Tumbleweed members to share their own work. Members are encouraged to bring any of the following to share in this celebratory and constructive space:

1) Work they would like to show off and share any techniques/skills they’re proud of executing

2) Any works that are currently in progress that they would like group input on vision and/or execution

3) Works that were unsuccessful that they are interested in troubleshooting as a group

Natalie Wagner is a multidisciplinary artist, and has two fine art degrees. They live and teach in Chicago at Thrown Elements Pottery and The Digs, and built a ceramics program for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago.
